About

Michon (She/Her) is a registered Art Therapist (ANZACATA) and registered nurse (AHPRA). She has worked in the public mental health sector for over ten years in acute inpatient settings, community mental health services, and acute care (crisis) intervention.
In these areas, Michon has worked with people in various stages of their life and distress, with equally varied psychiatric diagnoses and struggles.
Michon's therapeutic style is holistic and dynamic. She will work with you at your pace and support you in finding your own creative resources to meet life's challenges.
As an artist in her own time, Michon is well-versed in the various art mediums and tailors these to meet an individual's therapeutic needs. She is passionate about the arts and their ability to help us learn about ourselves, heal, and grow.
